Welcome to Slept: Sleep & App Blocker (“Slept,” “the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), developed by Gabriel Prince. By downloading, installing, or using Slept, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About Slept

Slept is a personal sleep improvement app that helps you build healthier bedtime habits by blocking distracting apps during self-set sleep hours, providing guided wind-down routines with ambient sounds, and tracking sleep quality through morning check-ins. Slept is designed for individual adult users managing their own device usage.

2. Eligibility

Slept is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. Slept is not designed or intended as a parental control tool.

3. Account & Data

Slept does not require account creation. There is no login, email signup, or social login. All your data is stored locally on your device and is not tied to any identity. If you delete the App, all local data is permanently deleted. For full details on data handling, please read our Privacy Policy.

4. App Blocking

Slept uses Apple’s Screen Time API (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity) to block apps you select during your chosen bedtime hours. Please understand:

• All blocking is entirely voluntary. You choose which apps to block, when to block them, and the lock mode (soft or hard).
• You can modify your schedule, change blocked apps, or disable blocking at any time in the App’s settings.
• Phone calls and Messages (iMessage/SMS) are never blocked — Apple excludes these from the Screen Time API.
• Soft lock mode allows you to unlock blocked apps by typing a confirmation phrase. Hard lock mode keeps apps blocked until your set wake time.
• Slept does not prevent its own removal. You can delete the App at any time.
• Slept does not function as parental controls — it is designed exclusively for individual adult users managing their own device.

5. Subscriptions & Payment

• Free Trial: Slept offers a 7-day free trial with all features unlocked.
• Monthly Plan: $9.99/month, auto-renewing.
• Yearly Plan: $59.99/year, auto-renewing.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple. Slept does not process refunds directly.

Prices are in USD and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change pricing with advance notice. Changes will not affect your current billing period.

6. Apple Health Integration

If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Slept will write sleep data to and read heart rate data from HealthKit. In accordance with Apple’s HealthKit guidelines, health data accessed through Slept is used solely for health-related purposes within the App. Health data is never used for advertising, is never sold, and is never shared with third parties.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Slept for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App
• Use the App in a way that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality
• Redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App

8. Intellectual Property

Slept and all its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Gabriel Prince and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Slept is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Slept is a personal habit-building tool and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any sleep disorder or medical condition. If you have a sleep disorder, please consult a healthcare professional.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gabriel Prince shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Slept. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gabriel Prince from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of Slept after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Slept shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
